My experience and approach

My perspective and approach is informed by extensive commercial experience, technical competence and a personal interest in creative problem solving. My industry knowledge and experience mean that I am able to both ask the right questions and provide considered, workable and relevant solutions. I like to be supportive, diplomatic and personable, and I take great pride in the relationships and networks that I have developed over my career to date.

I have recently stepped back from day-to-day operations at Calvium, a thriving technology agency that I co-founded 9 years ago, and continue to be involved as a non-executive director. My previous roles at Calvium span development and technical architecture, sales and account management. Some of the many highlights from my time there are listed under the projects page.

Prior to Calvium I have worked as a research scientist and developer at Hewlett-Packard Laboratories and a Research Assistant at Bristol University Computer Science Department. I hold a degree in Physics and a masters in Computer Science, and am currently studying for a further masters in Data Science.
